Dr. Christina Sletten, DDS
Christina Sletten has been practicing dentistry with love and dedication since 1992. She was born to be a dentist thanks to a history of dentists on both sides of her family. Christina fulfilled her calling despite an early dental phobia and graduated from the Royal Dental College in Copenhagen Denmark in 1992. From there, she came to the U.S. as an exchange student at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
Christina completed her residency there in Advanced General Dentistry in 1994. In 1996, she discovered Bioesthetic Dentistry and committed herself to learning and applying its revolutionary techniques within her practice. Bioesthetic Dentistry involves helping the patient achieve optimal biologic form which includes a healthy, beautiful, functional and pain-free chewing system. Currently, Christina is one of only 250 dentists in the world who are trained in and practice the Bioesthetic dental arts. She has also been on the faculty of the OBI Organization since 2005 and teaches other dentists on a regular basis all over the country.
Christina was selected as one of the Top Dentists’ in Colorado in 2014 for the sixth year in a row by her peers and featured in the highly acclaimed 5280 Magazine.
Christina is married to the love of her life, Paul, whom she met in her homeland of Denmark while he was an exchange student at her dental school. The Slettens have two beautiful, spirited children, Noah and Emma.
Christina is thrilled to be in Colorado where she can enjoy two of her favorite activities, skiing and horseback riding. They live on a full-fledged ranch complete with cattle and horses. Her children are now finding the love for horses as well, and are on horse back right next to mom.
